An in situ single point two-color laser interferometer is used to monitor in real-time the thickness of thin transparent films during processing. The instantaneous change of film thickness is determined by comparing the measured laser reflection interference to that calculated by a model. The etch or deposition rates of the film are determined within 1–2 seconds. The film thickness is also determined in real-time from the phase difference of the reflected laser intensity between the two laser colors. Use of two-color laser interferometry improves the accuracy of the calculated etch or growth rates of the film considerably. Moreover, the two colors provide a clear distinction between film etching and deposition, which may often occur during the same process, and can not be determined by a single color interferometer. The uniformity of the film's etch or deposition rates across the substrate is monitored by an in situ full-wafer image interferometer. The combined use of these two sensors provide instantaneous information of the film thickness, etch or growth rates, as well as time averaged uniformity of the process rates. This diagnostic setup is very useful for process development and monitoring, which is also suitable for manufacturing environment, and can be used for real-time process control.  相似文献

Chrysin, a herbal bioactive molecule, exerts a plethora of pharmacological effects, including anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and anti-cancer. A growing body of evidence has highlighted the emerging role of chrysin in a variety of neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injury, and brain tumors. Based on the results of recent pre-clinical studies and evidence from studies in humans, this review is focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying the neuroprotective effects of chrysin in different neurological diseases. In addition, the potential challenges, and opportunities of chrysin’s inclusion in the neurotherapeutics repertoire are critically discussed.  相似文献

Several novel trans-3-benzyl/(diphenyl)methyl/naphthylseleno substituted monocyclic β-lactams (5-7) have been synthesized in high yields. The reaction scheme inolves [2 + 2] cycloaddition (Staudinger) reaction between suitably substituted imines 4(a-h) and ketenes (B) accessed from 2-benzyl/(diphenyl)methyl/naphthylselenoethanoic acids (1-3) using POCl3 and triethylamine in refluxing toluene. Characterization of these newly synthesized seleno substituted β-lactams has been performed by various spectroscopic techniques viz. NMR (1H, 13C and 77Se), FTIR, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. The molecular structure of trans-1-(4′-methoxyphenyl)-3-(diphenyl)methylseleno-4-(4′-methoxyphenyl)azetidin-2-one (6b) has also been established with the help of single crystal X-ray analysis.  相似文献

A new series of novel (2S)-2-({2-[1,4-dihydro-3,5-bis(methoxycarbonyl)-2,6-dimethyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)pyridin-1-yl]-2-oxoethyl}amino)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl) propanoic acid (3a) and its analogues 3b-j has been synthesized. These compounds were evaluated for their in vitro antioxidant activity, anti-inflammatory activity and antiulcer activity. Compounds 3b and f exhibited significant antioxidant action comparable with that of standard. Efficacy against inflammation and ulceration was also found to be significant. The chemical structures of these compounds were confirmed on the basis of spectral data.  相似文献

CdS quantum dots of different average sizes in the range 2 to 3.8 nm were grown by diffusion-limited growth process in indigenously made silicate glass. The absorption spectra showed a strong quantum confinement effect with a blue shift of the order of ~500 meV depending on the average size. Critical radius of quantum dots was found to be 1.8 nm. The size dispersion decreased from 15.2 to 12.5% with a 20% increase in the particle size. The activation energy for diffusion was found to be very low i.e. 193 kJ mol−1 and the diffusion coefficient increased by 60% for 10 K rise in temperature. The PL emission spectra showed the presence of only deep traps around ~600 nm with a red shift of 200 nm. No shallow traps or band edge emission was observed. The PL peak position changed from 560 to 640 nm with a 35 K increase in annealing temperature.  相似文献

Fourier analysis is used to quantitatively assess the resolution, and in particular the isotropy of wave solution using finite difference spatial discretization schemes along with fourth order Runge–Kutta temporal scheme. Aspect ratio of the grid in two-dimension, along with the angle of wave propagation are the parameters varied to qualitatively and quantitatively assess the anisotropy of the solutions for (a) a skewed one-dimensional wave convecting in two-dimensions following the standard convection equation and (b) a wave propagating following the two-dimensional linearized rotating shallow water equations. Results show the effect of changing the aspect ratio and the propagation angle on the directional nature of the solution as obtained by different methods for the above non-dispersive and dispersive wave system.  相似文献

Wire like mono- and poly-nuclear molecules based on alkynyl ruthenium complexes whose core unit is trans-[Ru(CC-R)(R′CN)(dppe)2][PF6] are readily formed in soft conditions. The electronic dual character of the metallic unit, donor through the acetylide moiety, acceptor versus the nitrile ligand is exemplified through electrochemical studies of a series of ethynylferrocene and cyanoferrocene derivatives. A single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis of the [(dppe)2(PhCC)Ru(NC-C6H4-CN)Ru(CCPh)(dppe)2][2PF6] bimetallic complex 5 shows that the global structure of such complexes consists of wire type dimetallic units. With the availability of this versatile, direct, and simple route, a new class of extended rigid rod systems of nanometric size with multilevel electron transfers is readily accessed.  相似文献

The emergence of multidrug‐resistant (MDR) pathogens represents one of the most urgent global public health crises. Light‐activated quantum dots (QDs) are alternative antimicrobials, with efficient transport, low cost, and therapeutic efficacy, and they can act as antibiotic potentiators, with a mechanism of action orthogonal to small‐molecule drugs. Furthermore, light‐activation enhances control over the spatiotemporal release and dose of the therapeutic superoxide radicals from QDs. However, the limited deep‐tissue penetration of visible light needed for QD activation, and concern over trace heavy metals, have prevented further translation. Herein, we report two indium phosphide (InP) QDs that operate in the near‐infrared and deep‐red light window, enabling deeper tissue penetration. These heavy‐metal‐free QDs eliminate MDR pathogenic bacteria, while remaining non‐toxic to host human cells. This work provides a pathway for advancing QD nanotherapeutics to combat MDR superbugs.  相似文献
